Since January 2006 all food businesses are required to implement ‘documented food safety management control procedures based on the principles of HACCP’ (852 EC/2004).

HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) is a globally recognized system to control the safety of food. HACCP provides a plan and a set of rules for your kitchen so staff know what to do, how and when to do it.

Food Horizon’s Guardian system is a complete food safety management system designed for caterers.  Guardian has been developed to meet legislative requirements and has been refined over 2 years working with our customers to now be possibly the simplest system for caterers there is.

Sentinel is a unique electronic food safety management system, the next chapter in ‘due diligence’.  Sentinel utilises hand held computer(s) and captures data with the time and date to prove checks were carried out at the correct time.   Sentinel also has a level of ‘intelligence’ and will highlight problems and suggest corrective actions that should be taken.
